We have a almost 16 month old toddler, Cora, who is in the midst of her first germfest. She has the stomach flu (or what appears to be the stomach flu but could actually be a concussion, don’t ask). She first got sick last night and is feeling pretty miserable still today. In case you don’t know what a sick toddler is like, think of this: carrying around 23 pounds of whining, crying, grumpy toddler flesh all day long. The all day long part is not much of an exaggeration except that she is now sleeping in her crib but crying out in – what? angst, pain, frustration – every 20 minutes or so. I laid her down so I could eat something since I was starting to feel weak from no nourishement. And now I am supposed to be doing laundry but alas I found this nifty new site and wanted to start my blog here. We will see how long this one lasts (the blog and the germfest).
