Tuesday; Day 23

Electrician came. Not for long but he came. He says he will finish up next Monday or so – just needs one more day to finish wiring the systems (after the hvac guys are done).

I just recently discovered

that we have hgtv.  Thrilled wouldn’t quite cover it.  I’m so excited, ecstatic, happy, pleased, etc!  I am focusing on all things house right now and these decorating shows are hitting the spot.

Monday; Day 22

The husband worked all day today.  We went to grandma’s house.

Saturday; Day 20

So apparently the electrician failed to mention he was leaving us without electricity this weekend.  My husband will correct me here and tell me we do in fact have electricity.  There are two outlets working.  So there are no lights.  No other outlets working.  Nothing.  The house is kind of dark.  And quiet.

Electrician called this morning saying he couldn’t get in the garage.  I had to explain that it’s a hard lift.  He didn’t believe me.  So I gave him the garage code.  And told him where the opener was.  They didn’t work (the electricity to the garage wasn’t on, imagine that).  So I told him again [...]

Thursday; Day 18 update

I needed to get ahold of the electrician to see that there would be electricity today so I called them about 2.  They didn’t call back.  So I drove by the house, expecting someone to be working.  There was no one there.  So I called again, no answer.  So I called the owner and left [...]

Electrician is supposedly at the house working today.  Is it a good or bad thing I haven’t heard from them?  I’m going to assume good and run over to check on them this afternoon.

Tuesday; Day 16 & Wednesday; Day 17

Tuesday
The hvac guys came and got all of the holes drilled in the concrete and hardwood floors for the air vents to come through.  They also brought our second heat pump and the furnace.  So now we have two huge heat pumps sitting in boxes in the yard.  Lovely to look at, no?
