I watched Happy the other day and found it fascinating. A man that literally runs (with his feet) a rickshaw in India tests just as happy as the people in the USA. This man has very little in terms of physical possessions. Yet he is as happy as Americans who have an abundance of physical possessions.
You learn in the movie that happiness is 50% genetics, 10% situational/circumstances, and 40% is itentional behavior, or actions you choose to do.
And here are the things you can do to help your happiness:
play
having new experiences
friends and family
doing things that are meaningful
appreciating what we have
There was a lot of talk about flow, being in the flow while being immersed in an activity is so important to happiness.

Mmm…I’ll have to check that out. Flow’s tough when you have all the monsters with you!:)
I watched it a while ago on netflix. It was a good one.
