so expressive these days.
we went to the Children’s Museum. they loved it.
Ada at the children’s museum in the water play area.
daddy’s turn – she loves his silly faces and noises.
she loves to talk to Luisa.
her sisters put this on her. she loved it.
the big two insisted she wear this because I put her in a navy outfit (it has a pink bow!) and they thought she looked like a boy.
from our CSA farmers, they tasted like candy.
my favorite lunch. quinoa, kale, egg.
fell asleep in her stroller.
she just falls asleep like this. never had a baby do that. it’s not all the time, or often, but it’s strange!
my bath time. peace & quiet.
guacamole and chips for lunch.
Ada is obsessed with Cora lately and it’s going surprisingly well.
tape handles on our new pantry because we didn’t have any door pulls.
Della and Luisa.
she cried for almost an hour after waking up one morning (“my legs too tired”) so she sat down for a late breakfast.
I want to remember: her beautiful blonde hair.
movie day Friday.
more on this tomorrow.
back to the chemex! we started using the regular machine after Luisa was born to save on sleep and get coffee faster in the morning.
I keep telling her to stop growing but she isn’t listening.
I took Ada and Luisa out to run a few errands on Saturday so Kelly could work on the kitchen. We went out to lunch. Such a sweet girl.
she insisted on two different shoes and I wasn’t in the mood to fight it. what harm does it cause?
taking out our old double oven!
blue eyes. she reminds me more and more of her dad, a girl version obviously.
Jimmy John’s at the playground at school for dinner. At this point we didn’t have a working sink or dishwasher in the kitchen anymore. I took the girls to the park to let the husband work.
always in motion.
fell asleep again…
upper cabinets in and taking out the lowers. he worked all weekend, he must be exhausted.
new bottoms starting to go in!
Sunday morning after breakfast still in jammies and hair not brushed. 4 girls! this makes me feel incredibly blessed.
a kitchen that works again! still need cabinet doors/handles, backsplash, another set of cabinets on top of the upper cabinets, trim, etc. but it’s coming along and I love it!
